We think Vergil is a Samoyed/Borzoi mix. His behaviors often reflect the significant differences in the personalities of these breeds. For example, if someone new comes to the house, Vergil can't decided whether to run up for attention, or hold back and be cautious. He'll run forward then stop, woof, jump back, do a play bow, jump forward, sniff, jump back, etc., etc., over and over. But once the other dogs start getting all the attention, Vergil overcomes his nervousness and starts pushing in for attention too. |
