There is another sledding movie coming out with Northern breed dogs in it, called Eight Below. I don't know about other groups, but I'm convinced we experienced some fallout from the Snow Dogs movie. About 1-1/2 to 2 years after the film came out, we had a sudden rush of young dogs, like nothing we've had before or since.
I know some rescues set up tables at movie theaters to hand out literature (and accept donations!) about rescue and whatever breed is in the movie.
Is there anyone on this forum that would be interested in working together to create a handout with information to give to movie-goers at Eight Below? Then we can make the leaflet available to any rescuers who want to use it.
