Thanks for the congrats!
Now we get to really start working hard & fast to take all the remaining steps that had to wait until we "existed" legally! :) Here we were, already an established Rescue Group under our local Breed Club, and it has taken over 2 months just to research how to and to set up our own separate "entity"! My hat really goes off to those who have set up a Rescue Group from "scratch"!!
Hopefully our research was thorough enough that the next steps of registering for solicitation (required in FL) and applying for 501(c)3 status will go smoothly!
