passed over the Rainbow Bridge on November 29, 2008 at the age of 14
and a half. She is remembered and mourned by all who knew and loved
her but especially by her "mom" Deb Thompson and "little sis" Mishka.
Lexi was rescued at 9 months in Los Cruces, NM by Ann Daugherty and
was placed in her
forever home shortly after. The adoption was
arranged on SAMFANS and was the first Samoyed "rescue" that I know of
that was facilitated via the Internet.
Because of Lexi, Deb became
involved in rescue and handled the correspondence for the national
rescue group for a couple of years and helped to coordinate
rescue in North Carolina.
had a unique personality and a penetrating bark that could peel paint.
She ruled over her queendom with a velvet paw and when she loved
someone it was
forever. Lexi was brave and independent up to the end.
Her memory will always be cherished. Godspeed sweet princess.
SnoLegacy's Princess Alexi RIP.
